Lozol Product Description
Lozol is an antihypertensive agent and is used for medical management of light and medium episodes of hypertension. The drug is also used in cardiovascular pathologies, associated with fluid and sodium ions retention. Lozol pills may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive compound.
The initial dosage is one Lozol 1,25mg pill with intervals of 24 hours. The daily dosage may be increased to a maximum of two 2.5 mg Lozol tablets per day for patients with an inadequate response to the antihypertensive treatment.
If you missed a daily dose of Lozol, you can take it as soon as possible on the same day. If you remembered about the missed Lozol dose only in evening, skip this tablet and wait for your next dose of this antihypertensive agent.
In addition to the antihypertensive activity, Lozol pills reduce left ventricular hypertrophy. Lozol does not affect the lipids level in blood plasma, even in patients with hypertension, accompanied by type 2 diabetes.
Store Lozol tablets at temperature not exceeding 30°C in a tightly closed container. Protect from excessive heat or freezing, and keep out of reach of children.
